Yesterday was the best birthday I've had in a while. Way better than last year's, but of course, I was "Nobody likes you when you're 23" then, so becoming a 24 year old made up for that. =] Don't ask.. I'm weird about these kinds of things. Went on campus and hung around
, Emily, and Jeri. Of course, I saw my crush. It's not like it would happen... but if only it did. Also, of all days... Bad past did come back to haunt me a lil, but oh well. I will leave it be until something is said, and I hope it doesn't come to that. Anyway,
Cody, Luann and I all went to Olive Garden in Iowa City to celebrate my birthday, but I figured
and Luann needed to theirs to be celebrated as well. That's part of the reason why I had them both come along. =] Cody's sis joined us later on, so that was cool seeing her. The waiter we had was epic. We made sure he got a good tip. =] Got a lot bread sticks. lol Can never get enough of those. =] I love their salad and their Seafood Alfredo.
The wine was decent and so was the margarita. Although, I should have went for my strawberry daiquiri. The waiter sung to me twice, but second time, included an employee and sung to
as well. =] Poor Chicka wasn't feeling good though... =[ But I do hope birthday girl is feeling better today though. She got a free tea out of the deal too from the waiter. That was very kind of him. So yes, all was good. I also got tempera paints and acrylic from Luann, so I will be painting sometime and posting the work on here. That is.. when I find the motivation too. lol Aside from the birthday fun, I plan on getting jobs apps today and seeing if I can sign up for at least two classes at Hills that will unfortunately be paid out of my pocket... =[ Not looking forward to that, unless FASFA can help me out.
